Terms and Conditions for Rolling Hills Farmstead

1. Introduction
Welcome to Rolling Hills Farmstead. By booking a stay at our property or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made through our official website or authorized booking platforms.

  • A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 (seven) days before your check-in date.

  • Payments can be made via YOCO on this website.

  • Cancellations made within 7 (seven) days of the check-in date will not be eligible for a refund.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in time is from 14h00-18h00 and check-out is by 08h00-10h00.

  • Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must respect the property and its surroundings.

  • No smoking is allowed inside the cabins.

  • Pets must be always supervised as it is a working farm with animals grazing.

  • Prior approval is required if there are more than two pets checking in.

  • Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the property during their stay.

5. Property Use and Conduct

  • The property is for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • Parties or events are not permitted without prior consent.

  • Guests must adhere to noise regulations and respect neighbouring properties.

6. Liability

  • Rolling Hills Farmstead is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by guests during their stay, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.

  • Guests are advised to take care of their personal belongings and valuables.

  • We strongly recommend that guests obtain travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

7. Force Majeure

  • We are not responsible for any failure to fulfil obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or pandemics.

8. Privacy Policy

  • Personal data collected during bookings will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in that region.
